“Haunted Memories” Wins Best Independent Music Video at Connecticut Film Fest

On July 1, 2012, Haunted Memories, the music video by Llana Barron and numbir9 films, premiered at The Warner Theater in Torrington, CT, as an official selection for the Litchfield Hills Film Festival. At the festival’s award ceremony, the video was awarded for “Best Independent Music Video” by festival directors, Frank and Patrice Galterio.

Haunted Memories began its campaign for funding on IndieGoGo in August 2011. With the help of many fans and supporters, Barron, along with director Mehran Torgoley, began shooting in early October. The video was released on YouTube a few weeks later – just before Halloween. Six months later, the directors of Litchfield Hills Film Festival announced their official selections. Haunted Memories was among them. On July 1st 2012, the video finally premiered on the big screen. Barron and Torgoley give many thanks to the devoted supporters of their project.

Haunted Memories, the music video by Llana Barron and numbir9 Films, has been chosen for inclusion at the 7th Annual Litchfield Hills Film Festival. The energetic pop music video was released to the public via YouTube in October 2011, shortly following the song’s official release on iTunes.

On Sunday, July 1st, Haunted Memories will make its big screen debut at the festival, in the Warner Theater in Torrington, Connecticut at 1:30 PM. Tickets are available at the theater or online. The fest runs from Thursday, June 28th to Sunday, July 1st. The festival is open to the public, so please come and show your support for Independent Artists! Llana Barron Voices New Heroine For “Heroes of Newerth”

The developers at S2 Games have selected Llana Barron as the voice of their newest heroine, Celeris Blitz, in the hugely popular Heroes of Newerth game. HoN is a free to play, fantasy science, real time strategy game developed for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Celeris Blitz was released to the public as a playable character on March 30, 2012. She is a witty cheetah/woman superhero with lightning speed and shock attacks. Watch fan videos of Celeris in action below!

This February’s issue of Post Magazine features an article on the short film, Room Enough (2011), by numbir9 films. The film’s award winning 24-minute original musical score was composed and performed by Llana Barron. The Post article can be viewed here. In addition to the score and the original song, “Split”, which was written for the film, Llana also stars as two small roles. The film is now available online for free viewing!

Today marks the release of “Haunted Memories,” an original music video produced by Llana Barron and Mehran Torgoley of numbir9 films.

Production for the video began in mid August of 2011, with the help of many funders who supported the video on IndieGoGo. The video was filmed in early October 2011.

“Haunted Memories” plays out like a short horror film, with a suspenseful movie-like introduction. The story follows Llana as her car breaks down in a storm. With no cell phone reception, she is forced to seek shelter at a nearby bed and breakfast. The plot thickens as Llana finds herself in a haunting world she never expected.

Llana Barron, in conjunction with numbir9 films, will be releasing the music video for her original song, “Haunted Memories,” available now on iTunes. The video’s online release date is slated for October 21, 2011, just in time for Halloween.

Production for the video began in mid August of 2011, with the help of many funders who supported the video on IndieGoGo. The video was filmed in early October.

The “Haunted Memories” music video will be released through multiple online media channels, including YouTube and Vimeo, and will be free to watch for all viewers. The video will also be viewable here at www.llanabarron.com.
